Orange-flanked Bush Robin Crimson Sunbird

It is never easy to spot a bush robin but the Orange-flanked is perhaps the easiest of the Tarsiger's to be observed in the higher parts of the Dehradun area. This male is from Dhanaulti.

The Crimson Sunbird brings energy and colour to every garden in the Dun valley. While other species of sunbird are found in the area, the Crimson clearly dominates. Pictured male.
